Henry Cavill is going to be a dad! The 40-year-old actor, best known for his roles as Superman and Geralt of Rivia in "The Witcher," announced on social media that he and his girlfriend, Natalie Viscuso, are expecting their first child.
"I am so excited to finally share this news with you all," Cavill wrote on Instagram. "Natalie and I are expecting our first child, and we are absolutely thrilled!"
Viscuso also shared the news on her own Instagram account, writing, "I am so happy to finally be able to share this with the world. Henry and I are going to be parents, and I cannot wait to meet our little one!"
The couple has been dating for over a year, and they have been open about their desire to start a family. In an interview with People magazine last year, Cavill said, "I definitely want to be a father. I think it would be the most amazing thing in the world."
Cavill and Viscuso's baby is due in the fall of 2024.
