Miami, FL - July 30, 2024 - Matt Damon and Casey Affleck are teaming up for a new movie. The Oscar winner, 53, is co-starring with his younger brother in a Boston-set crime comedy penned by Casey along with Chuck MacLean. The film follows two reluctant partners who are forced to work together to solve a crime. This isn't the first time Affleck has showed off his Spanish speaking skills. In an interview with Kelly Clarkson, Affleck explained that he was inspired to study harder when his son started learning Spanish in school. "I wanted to be able to communicate with him in his own language," Affleck said. The brothers have a close relationship, and they often work together on projects. In 2016, they starred in the drama "Manchester by the Sea," which won Affleck an Oscar for Best Actor. They also worked together on the 2010 film "The Adjustment Bureau." The new movie, which is still untitled, is set to begin filming in the fall. No release date has been announced yet.
